Navigating thru the Pit
This blog is set up so that it reads as if one was reading thru a magazine rather than a newspaper in that newpaper articles are dated whereas magazine articles are not. Both contain items of interest and that’s why we choose what we choose.
Personally, I wanted my blog to somewhat mimic The Pioneer Woman’s blog. The main differences are mine doesn’t have all the fancy whoo hah that hers does, such as contests. But, in essence, that’s why I chose WordPress and also why I chose this format. I’m just your average ‘jane snuffy’ blogger here to share some of my wits of wisdom along with some of my crazy capers:
When I look thru a magazine, I tend to start from the back and work frontwards or just by an article that interests me. You may be wondering where to go from here.
There are three sections:
- First section (where you are now): ‘Peach Pit Navigation and History’ ~information about this blog as well as pages that won’t fit into the two other categories.
- Second section: ‘Remember Edith Bunker?’ ~anything a typical homemaker would want from weighing a piece of meat with a length of string to baking and cooking.
- Section three: ‘Those That Inspire & Those That Inspire to Create’ ~In this category are all sorts of arty-fartsy types of things that I have made including my stamped projects.
Note: To get to the pages below each section, just go to the right side of any page and click below any of the indented titles below that particular section.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and I hope you will check back periodically.
Peach Pit’s History
Peach Pit was adopted by us thru an organization called A Paw Up, headed by Yvette Fitzgerrald in Prosser, Washington.
Never have I seen a dog love fruit the way Peach Pit does! She had her first peach when she was just five months old and had been living with us for less than a week. A little later, she consumed a banana during one our camping trips (yes, I also call her Trixanna Banana). But my favorite nick for her is still Peach Pit.
She does love bananas, apples and of course, peaches (minus the pit).

Peach Pit is quite adorable!
Very cute and I love the pictures. I wish you luck with your blog and with the DT. I also applied for 3 different DT positions.

Audrey

How adorable.
My mother once had a cat that loved Watermelon and Pasta. You really had to guard what you were eating or she would be in lap…trying to get your watermelon/or pasta away from you.
Still amazing me with your blog! So much great info! Blessings to you!
Great peach pit of a dog. Nice blog, fun to look at. My friend would buy bananas, put them on the table, come back and they were gone. Hours later, she would, um, find the remains outside. Her boxer would steal all the bananas. I love dogs, they are such loveable animals. We adopted both of our labs.
Happy creativity with you.
Elaine

Aww lovely dog.
Really nice dog…I have a small dog who loves nuts. Yup, he cracks them open and eats the nutmeat and leaves the shells for the barefoot humans to step on.
Visited several segments of your blog. Thought the left over oatmeal recipes were the greatest.
Your doggie is so sweet.

We wish to thank you yet again for the wonderful ideas you offered Jesse when preparing a post-graduate research plus, most importantly, regarding providing every one of the ideas in a blog post. Provided we had known of your blog a year ago, we’d have been rescued from the needless measures we were choosing. Thank you very much.
It was a very nice idea! Just wanna say thank you for the information you have diffused. Just continue composing this kind of post. I will be a loyal reader, thanks a lot.
Awesome read! I’m now getting started in social media marketing & trying to understand how to best capitalize on Facebook Marketing for our store.
Keep up the good work!
